What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position at The Arc of Cape May County?
The Arc of Cape May County is seeking a part-time (10 to 15 hours per week) Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide supervision and guidance on community-based ABA services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral disorders.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Complete Functional Behavior Assessments and development and monitoring of Behavior Support Plans;
- Design, teach, and supervise ongoing ABA interventions that are ethical and effective based on published research in behavior analysis;
- Provide training in ABA methods and other support services to families and staff as well as collaborate effectively with professionals from other disciplines in the team to promote consistent intervention and maximum outcome;
- Must have a minimum of at least one year of experience providing services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities;
- Must have a driver’s license valid in the state of NJ, and no more than five points;
- Must have completed the BCBA coursework
