What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Assistant position at The Arc Oneida-Lewis?
The Arc Oneida-Lewis Chapters' Human Resources Team is growing! In this role you will work in conjunction with other HR Staff to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the Human Resources Department. Requires considerable judgement to work independently toward general results. Moderately difficult clerical work requiring an understanding of rules, procedures and policies. Must be flexible and skilled enough to accept and handle the varied and numerous personnel tasks of the Agency. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of staff personnel information and issues.
Responsibilities:
- Considerable judgment to work independently toward general results.
- Data Entry and review of all applicant data into the ATS database in accordance with EEOC requirements.
- Assure coordination and scheduling of drug testing, mantoux ( TB's) , CAPA, exclusion checks and fingerprinting and other screenings as applicable.
- Participate in the fingerprinting process with applicant, including follow through with the Criminal Background Check fingerprinting procedure, to include completion of all regulatory paperwork, for both OPWDD and OMH.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED with specialized training or experience with computer software applications and data processing.
- One year of experience working in a business office environment
- Valid NYS Drivers License
- Microsoft office experience a plus.
