You’re the top healthcare sales producer in your firm. You think strategically and you know market development: You are successful at identifying key organizational prospects and decision-maker(s) within your target market and understand a prospects’ true criteria for making decisions; You have direct, respected, strong healthcare relationships in the C suite and at the senior level. You connect with decision-makers to create mutually beneficial outcomes; 

TAG will provide you with the opportunity to operate in a high-reward, target-rich market, showcasing your proven ability for closing deals with large, complex, healthcare systems. Your responsibility as Manager, Business Development is to gain market share by selling solutions to the largest healthcare systems.

The VP of Business Developments primary responsibility is to capture new market share in specific territories and key accounts. The individual in this position must be highly driven to execute the full sales cycle from identification of target qualified accounts, to appointment setting, to client meetings, to close.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong, trusted relationships within C Suite of large healthcare organizations
  • Exceed Annual Sales quota of 2M
  • Effectively articulate TAG's value proposition to fulfill a clients specific need(s)
  • Assess client needs through active listening during client interviews
  • Set and Conduct sales interviews, meetings and presentations
  • Forecast and own sales pipeline including updating and reporting
  • Make initial and follow-up contacts with clients and potential clients
  • Conduct market research to create prospect lists
  • Obtain information on our competition
  • Participate in continued training as identified

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 5 years successful experience selling solutions to finance and purchasing/supply chain in healthcare 
  • Strong, trusted senior level relationships within healthcare supply-chain and finance
  • Demonstrated and quantifiable successful sales track record  
  • Demonstrated success in strategically gaining new market share
  • Demonstrated tenacity in overcoming objections
  • Ability to successfully communicate TAG's value proposition
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Ability to organize, maintain and use pipeline/client databases
  • Ability to represent and articulate our company values to the marketplace
  • Superior listening and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work independently and on a team
  • Confidentiality
  • Bachelor’s degree required
