What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Rep position at THE BANK N.A.?
The CSR position is responsible for handling a wide variety of customer requests while balancing multiple tasks and other assigned duties. A CSR will employ a detailed level of knowledge regarding bank products and services, bank policies and procedures and present it in a professional, friendly manner.
Requirements/Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1-year of banking experience (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills to ensure the customer's needs are met
- Friendly demeanor with positive attitude and clean, neat appearance
- An intermediate understanding and skill level of computer operations such as Word & Excel
- The ability to communicate with customers both in a verbal and written format and to be able to present it in a friendly, clear and concise manner
- Good organizational skills and flexibility in changing schedules and handling customer traffic
- Willingness to participate as a team player and contribute to the greater good of the organization
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist customers with deposit related issues including but not limited to; opening all types of deposit accounts, handling debit cards and online banking needs
- Assist customers with account reconcilement issues such as balancing, overdrafts, debit card fraud and other unauthorized transactions.
- Process all I.R.A. matters such as transfers, contributions, distributions and beneficiary options.
- Other duties as assigned
Branch Hours:
- Monday-Saturday - 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Sunday - 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Work Hours:
- Weekly work schedule consists of four (10-hour) shifts with a rotating schedule (except Sunday-half day)
- 40 hours a week.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
