POSITION: SeniorVice President / Cashier

STATUS: FT Salary / Commensurate with experience

SUMMARY: The Senior Vice President / Cashier is responsible for supervision and day to day management of the Operations area of The Bank N.A. These areas include the teller, customer service, item processing, bookkeeping, accounting, overdraft, branch operations and personnel departments of The Bank and all related compliance issues of these departments.

The SVP/Cashier reports directly to the Bank President and works with the CEO on any and all projects necessary and required.

Duties also include leading and engaging with the supervisory team of all of the Operations department, and being an active advisor and a motivational leader. Must represent the Bank with pride in the community while developing a strong team of supervisory subordinates.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATON:

· Bachelor’s degree in Management or Finance or related field with strong accounting skills

· Preferred 10-15 years of management experience in banking or relevant industry

· Strong leadership, communication, management, and decision-making skills

· Thorough knowledge and understanding of bank operations, accounting, and management of regulatory and banking procedures

· Ability to multitask

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sets a leadership example by taking ownership and exceeding personal goals.
  • Directly supervises and manages Operations Supervisors.
  • Provides leadership to maintain and expand existing client relationships and growth of new relationships through excellent customer service and swift resolution of problems/questions which arise in the Bank.
  • Responsible for Bank’s overall Risk Management Policies, procedures and analysis.
  • Reports to Board of Directors at Monthly Meeting for financial reporting.
  • Responsible for ALCO reporting, EEO operations and financial reporting.
  • Monitors the execution of the Operation team’s activities, holding team members accountable for their results.
  • Must have a proven ability to mentor, energize and motivate.
  • Provides superior level of customer service both externally and internally to other departments.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of new and current regulations.
  • Helps operational and branch supervisors with customer questions, concerns and problem resolution.
