POSITION PROFILE:
Responsible for assisting the bartender by setting up, stocking and cleaning of bar area while ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction and the achievement/maintenance of company standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
- Set-up bar area for operation.
- Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner; maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Ensure that the bar area is always kept clean including cleaning the bar area at the end of the shift.
- Stock glassware and product.
- Assist bartenders by ensuring adequate stock of condiments and juices.
- Assist in the completion of liquor requisitions and supply lists.
- Perform all side work duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school education or equivalent experience.
Experience: Three-Six months in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.
Skills and Abilities: Provide exceptional service to all guests. Able to multitask and handle equipment. Must have manual coordination to grasp items in hand and to balance and carry large trays loaded with glassware. Able to read, speak, and understand English. Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff, and guests.
