Position Overview : The Big House Sports Complex is looking for a personable and skilled Sponsorship Specialist to join our team.

This part-time role is ideal for someone with a talent for building relationships and a proven ability to secure sponsorships.

The Sponsorship Specialist will be responsible for identifying, reaching out to, and securing sponsorships from local businesses and organizations to support our events and programs.

Key Responsibilities :

Sponsorship Acquisition : Identify and research potential sponsors that align with the values and mission of The Big House Sports Complex.

Develop tailored proposals to secure sponsorship agreements.

• Relationship Building : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective sponsors. Ensure that sponsors receive excellent service and are engaged in a way that maximizes the value of their sponsorship.
• Proposal Development : Create compelling sponsorship packages that highlight the benefits and exposure opportunities for potential sponsors.

Present these proposals to decision-makers in local businesses and organizations.

• Event Support : Work closely with the events team to ensure that sponsors are appropriately represented at events. This includes managing sponsor branding, signage, and other promotional materials.
• Reporting and Analysis : Track sponsorship performance, including the impact on events and overall revenue. Provide regular reports to management on sponsorship activities and outcomes.
• Collaboration : Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that enhance sponsor visibility and engagement through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and onsite promotions.

Qualifications :

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building relationships.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
• Experience in sports or event management is a plus.
• Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the business and work effectively within the hours of 7 : 00 AM to 1 : 00 PM.
