Primary focus includes Sports Club tournament and event operations, member services, and oversight of housekeeping and and court maintenance departments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assist the Direct of Operations in conducting operations in accordance with The Boar's Head Vision, Values, and Mission statements and apply the Forbes Travel Guide Standards and AAA 4-Diamond Service Expectations throughout guest interactions.
Manage Public Space (Housekeeping) team - Interview, train, and ensure cleanliness of all public space areas and locker rooms across Sports Club and Birdwood Golf, reporting all facility deficiencies to Engineering.
Manage Court Maintenance team - Interview, train, and ensure tennis courts are maintained in pristine conditions. Assist Court Maintenance team as needed.
Purchasing and inventory maintenance of housekeeping and maintenance supplies.
Assist with the planning and execution of tournaments and events.
Work with third party/vendors to complete facility cleaning/improvements.
Serve as liaison with linen vendor and maintain linen inventory.
Practice proficiency on club management software programs (GEMS, Adaco, Club Automation, and ADP).
Hold training meetings with staff regularly for operational updates.
Obtain CPR/AED/First Aid certification and follow The Sports Club's emergency action plan.
Conduct daily inspection of Sports Club facilities and report necessary maintenance and/or upkeep to appropriate team members and management.
Oversee and monitor member billing and other miscellaneous services.
Manage payroll for all Public Space and Court Maintenance team members.
Develop and produce bi-weekly work schedules for all Public Space and Court Maintenance staff commensurate with business levels (considering seasonal business, weekly programs/events).
Support the front desk team, covering the desk as needed.
Attend management staff meetings and ensure pertinent information from meetings is shared with direct reports/team members.
In the absence of the Membership Sales Manager, provide tours to prospective new members, provide membership collateral, and answer general questions about the Club/Resort.
Cross-train in all departments to develop familiarity of Sports Club offerings and procedures.
Manage all direct reports and complete performance and annual reviews on schedule.
Serve as Manager-on-Duty as scheduled.
Contribute to overall resort team effort by completing additional duties as assigned.
