What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resort Operator/ Communications position at The Boulders Resort & Spa?
We are looking for a Resort Operator to serve as our guests point of contact for requests, and hotel inquiries. As the resort operator you will be responsible for all in bound calls to the hotel and directing them to the appropriate department. As well as answering in house calls. Dispatching shuttles, maintenance, and Housekeeping as needed. If you have a knack for customer service and experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct all in bound phone calls to the Resort.
- Direct inquires to the correct department
- Answer basic question about rooms, restaurants and hotel amenities.
- Dispatch to the Bell team, Engineering and Housekeeping when needed.
- Provide luxury customer service to our in house guests.
- Handle requests and resolve service issues.
- Handle basic billing questions.
Skills
- Work experience at a hotel, Receptionist, or similar role
- Experience with Hilton OnQ system is a major plus
- Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor
- Customer service attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills'
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
