We are hiring a Specialist I - Global Sourcing. 

The Specialist I - Global Sourcing is responsible for new project bidding and cost negotiation, vendor relationships and management, and tracking and coordinating production and quality information. 

Responsibilities

• Calculate Freight-in and Freight-out cost
• Create internal Cost of Goods (COG)
• Distribute and maintain internal COG
• Maintain Cost of Goods and sampling status in tracking database              
• Review new concept and programs with Program Managers
• Consulting on new concepts and programs
• Vendor selection
• Development problem solving
• Update development report
• Review pre-production samples for accuracy and quality issues.
• Package weight control
• Production problem solving
• Tracking report updates for personalized shipments

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree 
• Minimum five years International Purchasing/Buyer experience
• Advanced MS Office skills, advanced Excel skills required
• Proven cost negotiation skills
• Ocean / Air freight calculation
• Direct mail experience
• Strong computer skills including word, excel, and databases
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven project management skills
