We’re hiring a Full-time or Part-time Accounting Manager to join our company in our Greenville, SC, office. The ideal candidate will be organized, have a strong bookkeeping background, comfortable and well-versed with use of technology/learning new platforms, and be a team player who can efficiently work with all levels of employees, including the senior leadership team and other members of the 45-person staff.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accounting records by compiling and analyzing account information
- Reconcile the company's financial records to help ensure the accuracy of financial statements
- Post financial transactions to accounts and prepare financial statements
- Tracking the organization’s revenue, expenses, and taxes, as well as producing financial reports
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
Below are the qualifications expected of a Accounting Manager:
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and accounting systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook), with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online; experience with other tax preparation and accounting software
- Working knowledge of Bill.com
- Bonus points for Expensify experience
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented self-starter who's able to prioritize
- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent written communications skills, which demonstrate the ability to draft clear, concise specifications, documentation, and reports

Salary
$45,000 - $55,000 commensurate with experience
