Summary of Position
As a member of our kitchen management team, it is sous chef's primary responsibility to lead the line in prepare the highest quality food, consistently and effectively. Additionally, as Sous Chef, you will:
- Accurately and efficiently prepare hot food items, while also leading others on the line
- Prepare and portion food products prior to cooking
- Perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items
- Demonstrate a true desire to satisfy the needs of others
- Help the Chef build the kitchen team through hiring and ongoing development
- Assist and/or complete inventory, ordering, setting of PARS. etc
- Complete additional tasks as required and assigned

Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 1 years as a Sous Chef, Executive Chef, Culinary Manager, or Kitchen Manager in a similar restaurant concept with a high-volume, scratch kitchen
- Culinary degree / certificate a plus
- Comfortable working in an emerging-growth company environment
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- An impressive work-ethic
- Must have a great personality, desire to serve guests, and enjoy working as part of a team
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Desire to learn industry/gain experience
- Highly collaborative nature
- Must be able to multi-task
- Up-beat and engaging
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
