Full time Expo/Food Runner

SUPPORT POSITION: Job Description

*Looking for a reliable, detailed oriented Food Expeditor*

Our team of support staff provides support to bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff in a collective effort to ensure that our guests have an extraordinary experience and that daily operations run smoothly. Compensation includes hourly wage and tips.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time, in proper attire, with hair up if longer than collar

• Become an expert on menu items, table numbers and position points

• Interact with customers, answer questions, and handle complaints empathetically

• Stock, fill and rotate all product inventory used

• Report inventory levels and ensure that delivered items are stored properly

• Maintain a clean work environment

• Perform all opening, running, weekly and closing sidework duties

• Work effectively as a member of the team to ensure guests have an extraordinary experience

• Follow all relevant Buffalo Rose policies and procedures outlined in Employee Handbook

Expo and Food Runner–

Our expo and Food runner work tirelessly in the restaurant kitchen to ensure all meals are delivered with consistency, accuracy, and with proper presentation. Our Expo/Food Runner has a great attitude and hyper-aware team player who remains diligent in their efficient ability to present plated food whether it’s a slow afternoon or a rockin’ night.

Assist with opening and closing duties, restocking the expo fridge, etc

Ensure the efficient flow of orders from kitchen to servers and in correct priority

Assist in the final preparation of dishes

Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature

Deliver orders to maintain fast service

Requirements

*18 years of age or older

*Must own and use a mobile phone

*Excellent communication skills including basic computer skills and email

*Fluent in English, Spanish a plus

*Availability to Evening and Weekend shifts

*Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance

*Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time

*Ability to carry up to 25 lbs. up and down a staircase

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $12 - $15/hour PLUS TIPS
