Responsibilities
- Wash, dry and fold towels
- Keep up with daily cleaning checklist
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility throughout shift
- Continuously walk and monitor the second and third floor
- Ensure all risk management practices are in place
- Enforce all Gatorade and food policies
- Assist with facility tours
- Ensure proper footwear and work-out attire is being worn
- Turn all televisions on and off at opening and closing
- Assist the Facility Supervisor with any problems/issues
- Assist with nets and other facility setups
- Janitorial responsibilities
- Upkeep of all equipment
- Responsible for cleaning of bathrooms and locker rooms
- Collect all trash throughout the facility
- Daily maintenance of floors and equipment
- Collect all passes/receipts for fitness classes
- Keep track of all fitness class participants
- Represent Campus Recreation Services in a positive light at all times
- Must be actively seeking a degree at the University
- Basic knowledge of computer skills
- Ability and willingness to enforce policies and handle conflict resolution
Work Environment
- Office environment/fitness center environment
- Moderate to loud noise
- Standing or walking
- Repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement (while operating computer equipment)
- Occasional bending, stooping
- Eye-hand coordination (keyboard typing)
- Hearing and talking
