Job Summary :
As a Mechanical Assembler, you are expected to perform skilled fitting and / or mechanical or hydraulic type assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment.
You will perform in-depth inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications :
No minimum education required
1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment or can demonstrate sufficient competence in area
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Intermediate understanding of mechanical concepts / mechanical aptitude
Working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
Preferred Qualifications :
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Perform skilled fitting and / or mechanical or hydraulic type assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment
Perform in-depth inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards
Do aligning, adjusting, and required secondary machining
Work from drawings and specifications and shop orders
Use required precision measuring instruments and gauging devices
Identify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnel
Keep accurate production records / logs etc.
Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules
