The Chamberlin Group was founded in 2002, bringing 30 years of tax and financial experience to our community. Among others, we serve people who are of retirement age and are transitioning from working to retirement. We set our clients at ease by helping them with their tax planning, investment advice, and holistic financial planning. ABOUT THE JOB - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruiting and Hiring: Attract top talent; Review resumes, conduct interviews, track candidates; Communicate regularly with candidates on next steps; Create and implement recruitment plans
- Culture and Employee Support: Support new hires through the onboarding process; Help manage and work through internal interpersonal issues when necessary; Coordinate employee events and teambuilding activities; Work collaboratively with marketing staff to brand TCG as a top place to work; Seek out and discover awards or recognition our firm is eligible for
- Leadership and Administration: Streamline hiring process to make it faster and more effective; Organize and ensure all employee paperwork is correct and up-to-date; Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs; Assist with performance reviews, development, discipline, and terminations; Participate in weekly leadership meetings; Provide routine reports on hiring progress and initiatives; Assist with payroll processing, research, and reporting; Assist with developing standards for performance management of staff; Regularly review and update HR processes, job descriptions, job ads, etc.
- External Relationships: Collaborate with outside HR support vendors; Act as a key person to work with our PEO to ensure HR compliance
- Create HR Processes: Review and update company handbook, create Career Path processes, People development & training

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher required. Preferably in HR-related studies
- 4 years experience in an HR role and broad knowledge in all HR aspects.
- Previous experience in a fast-growing small or mid-size company is preferred
SCHEDULE:
- 8:30-5:00, Monday-Friday, working from our office near Manchester and 270
COMPENSATION:
- $54K - $59 K first-year salary depending on experience
- End of year profit-sharing bonus
