The Children's Clinic is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide services for a growing pediatric practice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Consult with physicians on patient problems and interpretation of policies to ensure patient needs are met.
A. Diagnose and treat patient illnesses.
B. EMR (MacPractice) system, promptly completes charts directly related to patient care within 2 business days.
C. Prescribes medication as needed.
D. Educate and counsel patients regarding healthcare needs.
E. Well Child/Acute appointment for all patients
F. Suture removal
G. Facilitates patient referrals to the appropriate physician for care
H. Wart removal
I. Follow all applicable laws and regulations (State, Federal Agency) in the practice of medicine.
Monday-Saturday schedule in Lancaster and prn Saturday
Monday-Friday-schedule Indian Land
Education or Experience:
Must have a Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from a four-year college or University; must be a Graduate of an accredited physician assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. Required to meet any state requirements for a Nurse Practitioner. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Certificates and License: Must meet any state requirements for a Nurse Practitioner.
