General Purpose:
Serves guest(s) food and beverage items in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Assists with department training, development and implementing customer service standards.
Essential Duties:
· Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
· Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture values and mission of The Club at ArrowCreek.
· Develops positive relationships with shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs and concerns.
· Ensures guests are promptly greeted upon arrival. Manages guest traffic flow on the restaurant floor.
· Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory, and inventory records.
· Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products.
· Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
· Communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
· Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to management.
· Ensures guests are satisfied with the service provided, and items are replenished as needed.
· Attends to the detail and presentation of each order.
· Prepares and maintains ingredients by following recipes.
· Must have basic wine knowledge. Familiar with wine pairings.
· Performs other duties as required. Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, safety procedures, and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.
· Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes POS System.
· Processes cash and check transactions. Utilizes the point of sales system and trains new associates.
· Follows established cash handling procedures and ensures that other staff adhere to procedures.
· Coordinates daily supply of inventory for bar and submits orders to supervisor; assists with receipt of deliveries.
· Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
· Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules, including dishwashing as needed.
· Contributes to daily, holiday, and theme drink menus in collaboration with supervisor.
· Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events, if needed.
· Ensures all service associates are knowledgeable of the cocktails menu.
· Instructs personnel in use of new equipment and cleaning methods and provides efficient and effective methods of maintaining work area.
· Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
· Regular and reliable attendance.
· Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must obtain any required local and state licenses or certifications.
Knowledge of dining room operations required.
Environment/Noise:
Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
Certificates/Licenses:
Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.

Skills
