An ideal candidate will have prior experience serving guests and interacting with a diverse group of individuals in high volume situations. The Banquet Server is responsible for serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions and general customer service. This is a physically demanding job that requires flexibility, good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Answer customers' questions and direct their requests to the appropriate staff member.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of menu items.
- Be able to serve drinks, appetizers, and meals in a prompt manner.
- Learn how to properly pair alcohol with food items.
- Be able to maintain a clean and organized workspace in order to properly present food and beverages for guests.
- Demonstrate knowledge of all food items on the menu and how they are prepared.
- Demonstrate knowledge of wine, including how it is made, what it pairs well with, and how much to charge for a glass or bottle of wine.
- Ensure that professionals who visit the establishment receive excellent service.
- Maintain awareness of the location of all dishes and glassware at all times.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
