Summary:
Seeking a Salesforce Database Manager to support a state’s COVID-19 Unit emergency response and recovery activities. This position may be either a remote or hybrid.
Candidate must be able to provide support a minimum of 35 hours a week minimum, with ability to work off-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed to support COVID-19 Unit response requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to learn an application quickly and help maintain and create training literature
- Gather, create, and capture requirements for additions or changes to the application that are prioritized from leadership
- Summarize the needed changes by creating “user stories” or describing the needs of the team in a standardized format.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for each new release of the application
- Educate and train peers and establish a support network of super users to educate and train a team
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:
Due to the nature of this work, the selected candidate must have sufficient education, training, and experience to demonstrate the possession and direct application of the following knowledge and abilities:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Use of JIRA for project management
- Ability to create and execute a regression testing suite
- Ability to lead under pressure in a calm and thoughtful manner
- Must possess high level of emotional intelligence (EQ)
- Must be highly competent individual who can think both strategically and tactically in numerous situations and is capable of toggling between the two seamlessly
- Must have exceptional communication skills (e.g., verbal, written, presentation) and time management skills (e.g., ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines)
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Must have experience testing applications
- Must have experience with Service Clouds, Partner, and Customer Communities
- Must have experience with Salesforce Health Cloud Application
- Change Management experience with a SaaS application using agile approach
- Software development lifecycle experience (agile preferred)
