What are the responsibilities and job description for the SharePoint Developer position at The Contingent Plan?
The Contingent Plan is actively recruiting an experienced SharePoint Developer/Programmer for its client based in the Twin Cities. This is an immediate need and the client will move quickly with the right candidates. Compensation is competitive and depends on experience.
This is a temporary assignment that is expected to last 6 months. The assignment may be extended based on performance and the client's needs. The role is 40 hours/week and it may be performed remotely. There is a preference for candidates in the upper Midwest. But, the client will consider candidates outside of this region based on qualifications. Sorry, no sponsorship is available at this time.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to produce software designs
- Setting up SharePoint sites, permissions, workflows, libraries, calendars and InfoPath migration.
- Troubleshoot SharePoint issues reported by users.
- Formulate program specifications and basic prototypes
- Transform software designs and specifications into high-functioning code in the appropriate language
- Integrate individual software solutions to higher level systems
- Use web-based tools to create and advance applications
- Test code periodically to ensure it produces the desirable results and perform debugging when necessary
- Perform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficient
- Collaborate with technical writers to create documentation for user support
- Provide knowledge transfer
Requirements:
- Five years experience as a developer/programmer. Master's degree may substitute up to 3 years of experience. Bachelor's degree can substitute up to 2 years experience, and Associate's degree can substitute up to 1 year of required experience.
- At least Two (2) consulting/temporary employment engagements lasting more than six (6) months in Developer/Programmer role
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio focused on the end user.
- Experience with Web User Interface Design (UI), Security, Object-Oriented Design
- Experienced with Web Applications and SharePoint programming languages
- Prior development experience working with a healthcare provider preferred
- Able to pass all required background checks.
- Capable of completing the entire engagement
- Able to work remotely with reliable internet and attendance
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
