Summary
The Shop & Warehouse Manager is responsible for all labor functions related to order fulfillment. The Shop & Warehouse Manager must be able to lead and manage a diverse group of people as this position manages the Hardware Department, Key Shop, Door/Frame Shop, and Pre-Install Departments. The Shop & Warehouse Manager must communicate and execute the company goals. This position should have advanced computer and software skills, and be able to review all trends, pull data, and establish goals and metrics. The Shop & Warehouse Must be working towards constant improvement of all processes and overall efficiency. This position must be able to work well with the Branch Leadership, Operations, PM Team, and Accounting Staff. The Shop Manager is responsible for Implementing and maintaining safety programs, and hiring and training new employees.

Minimum Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience with the commercial door & hardware industry, preferred
- Previous experience managing multiple teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Products, including but not limited to Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge of industry specific software
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Working knowledge of warehouse environment required
- Advanced technical understanding of doors, frames, and hardware products desired
- Knowledge of keying, welding, machining of doors, install of materials and logistics desired
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and problem solving skills
- Ability to improve processes and efficiency
- Managerial skills to be able to manage, discipline, and inspire employees
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills both verbal and in writing, good mathematical skills
- Professional and polished in both appearance and speech
- Track and monitor all orders through each required area
- Work closely with purchasing to ensure inventory is at appropriate levels, and non-stocks orders are placed timely and accurately
- Create, monitor, and publish KPIs for all departments
- Implement and maintain safety programs
- Implement new employee, and established employee training programs
- Communicate any issues on orders with the PM Staff
- Work with PM Staff to generate install labor work
- Analyze all current process, modify or redesign to achieve maximum efficiency
- Ability to plan for future expansion, workload, and industry trends
- Monitor packing of all materials as related to freight claims
- All other duties as assigned
