The Corner Café is a busy breakfast and lunch restaurant serving exceptional food to amazing customers. We serve the highest quality food and provide an enjoyable environment for our valued customers. We have recently been featured on the Phantom Gourmet. Please check us out on the web cornercafemarshfield.com We are currently looking for servers to join our team. Bartending experience a plus! This is a fast paced environment where teamwork is essential. We are looking for candidates that are energetic and project a cheerful demeanor with customers while multitasking in a busy atmosphere.
Shifts 7:30am - 3:30pm Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun, closed Tuesdays
Must be available to cover any shifts. Must be able to work weekends.
This is not a seasonal job posting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare restaurant for opening in the morning
- Greet customers in a friendly manner
- Understand menu well enough to effectively and efficiently take customer orders.
- Enter orders accurately into handheld POS system.
- Check on customer needs , deliver food, and clear tables.
- Take Phone Orders
- Manage Take out orders
- Constant attention to customer needs, preparation of station and cleaning front of the house area.
- Awareness of specials board and 86 board.
- Effective and clear communication with the kitchen especially on special orders (substitutions, allergies etc)
We are looking for high energy, friendly individuals that are interested in providing excellent customer service. Must be able to multi-task and work well with both the front of the house and the back of the house team. This is a server position that earns tips.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
