REPORTS TO
The Senior Analyst, Corporate & Business Advisory will report directly to the Vice President of Corporate & Business Advisory or their designee.

POSITION SUMMARY
The position of Senior Analyst for the Corporate & Business Advisory division will be focused on providing financial analysis to support the Firm’s clientele. This individual will play an integral role on our team, providing quantitative and analytical support for all sell-side and buy-side Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) assignments, refinancing, recapitalization and restructuring assignments and be responsible for interacting and collaborating with the client and their respective advisors in the process.
This role will be assigned to a variety of projects and given a broad range of responsibilities such as developing and managing comprehensive financial models and analysis, creating client presentations, preparing for/attending client meetings, and performing in-depth company and industry research.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities and description of duties described below are not intended to be all inclusive:
▪ Assist in developing and maintaining financial models and projections. Such analysis may include but is not limited to: Comparable Company Analysis (Public Comps), Precedent Transaction Analysis (M&A Comps), Discounted Cash Flow Analysis (DCF), Merger and Acquisition Models, and different strategic alternatives and capital structure options;
▪ Communicate financial information and strategic issues in a clear, concise and relevant manner to assist and guide executives and business owners in a variety of corporate finance transactions;
▪ Perform due-diligence on behalf of a client for any transaction or assignment involved in a client engagement. Support the efforts in reviewing or putting together a comprehensive data room and presentation materials.
▪ Conduct comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research;
▪ Demonstrate extraordinary attention to detail on client deliverables;
▪ Develop and deliver customized presentations/plans to help client accomplish their goals;
▪ Manage different types of projects at once and work effectively and efficiently as an individual and part of a team;
QUALIFICATIONS
The Senior Analyst, Corporate & Business Advisory must possess the following qualifications:
▪ Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in a finance or business background, particularly in investment banking, private equity, or consulting;
▪ Strong technical background in financial modeling and forecasting;
▪ Ability to build 3 statement model forecasts and sensitivity analysis;
▪ Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision;
▪ Strong communication and networking skills;
▪ Ability to adapt quickly to a variety of industries and businesses;
▪ Ability to challenge financial and strategic assumptions of business line executives, finance personnel and other diligence team members;
▪ Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
▪ Excellent work ethic, desire for continual improvement, and strong intellectual curiosity.
