Attorney

The Crest Group is a private equity firm with a concentration in commercial real estate management and development of residential, office, retail, industrial and hospitality properties. We are seeking an attorney with 5 years large firm transactional real estate and related experience, including sophisticated financing, leasing and 1031 transactions, to become part of our team, working directly with senior management. Knowledge of litigation and corporate law would be a plus. The ideal candidate will be motivated, innovative, detail-oriented, have proven negotiation skills, the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a proactive manner, and have solid computer and technology skills.

Responsibilities will include:

· Drafting, review and negotiation of transaction documents, including contracts, loan documents, share and asset purchase/sale agreements, service agreements and other transaction and commercial agreements.

· Coordinating and managing legal due diligence, processes related to business operations firm wide as well as establishing systems to organize the legal process within the firm

· Advising on acquisitions, divestitures, strategic investments, service offerings and other structural and commercial initiatives.

· Assisting with implementations, closings and post-transaction integrations.

· Assisting on multiple priorities within our Company, including realigning existing entities, forming new operating entities, augmenting our company’s capabilities through acquisitions and other corporate and commercial matters which arise.

· Providing legal opinion of general business issues and managing risk with regard to risk tolerance and compliance obligations.
