Social Media Manager (Part-Time to Full-Time)
What You’ll Do:
- Run school-related social media advertising campaigns.
- Formulating high-quality written and visual content for each social media campaign.
- Building a social media presence by maintaining a solid online presence.
- Monitoring the company's brand on social media.
- Building brand awareness around the field of education by engaging relevant influencers.
- Managing our online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement.
- Responding to comments on each of our accounts.
- Communicate leads to the team provided via social media.
- Analyzing data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives.
- Leverage content creation tools for expanding a social media presence on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Tiktok
- Coaching employees company-wide on content creation best practices.
What You’ll Need:
- Be a team-first education-minded content creator willing to think outside the box and do school differently!
- Demonstrate social media marketing experience in the education space.
- Experience developing social media strategies in the education market.
- Experience working with and developing a marketing plan.
- Ability to develop the right voice for each social media platform.
- Proven ability to build social media communities.
- Demonstrate experience as a Brand Manager on social media.
- Ability to measure the success of campaigns through data analysis, SEO, and insights.
- Able to furnish a social media management portfolio upon request
- Background Check & Fingerprinting Required
- Ability to "wear many hats" while investing in creating community and global connections to make learning authentic and meaningful

- Serves as a role model through social media management, and uses an innovative and creative learner lens to capture our cutting-edge instructional practice, pedagogy, and doing school differently.
- Have a meaningful connection to the education community by staying aware of current trends and developments in the fields of instructional practice, lesson design, and educational technology
- Have flexibility during the Monday-Friday school day hours while identifying the best times to post for our audience
- Willing to accept changes in logistics and operations in regards to how school occurs and how to best illustrate our work on social media
- Be willing to meet regularly online (and in-person, where appropriate) to facilitate outstanding social media marketing
- Be familiar with exactly what we do and how we do it in terms of school
- Familiarity and comfort using Google Suite, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Classroom, and Seesaw as it pertains to our Social Media Marketing
- Be available to attend and participate in field trips, community gatherings, and online learning sessions
- Promote the concept of "Doing School Differently" and represent our mission
- Inspire students and families to contribute responsibly in the digital world and guide them to be curious, wise, empathetic, safe, and ethical
