The Operations Manager is responsible for operations, building maintenance, staff, and supply needs. Develop a partnership with Store Manager to achieve overall company goals. Train and control the activities of assigned personnel in such a way the ensure employees perform in a superior manner and meet standards of excellence.

Responsibilities
- Oversees all Warehouse Operations.
- Creates Schedules to ensure maximum use of man hours through store projections, forecasting and target planning to achieve optimum performance levels.
- Holds Assistant Operations Manager accountable for department productivity.
- Keeps organized copies of records of training, discipline, policy sign offs, payroll, etc.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Creates goals and tracks associates production.
- Evaluate and record all high level reporting.
- Perform weekly voids and exchange reporting. Work with the Store Manager to review weekly, partnering to find resolutions and opportunities for improvement.
- Work with the logistics department to communicate all detention/demerge charges.
- Coordinate all inbound and outbound transfers.
- Track and report all hourly and salary time cards ensuring accuracy.
- Ensure all employee evaluations are completed timely.
- Ensures the proper staffing levels are kept.
- Responsible for all new employees cross training program using the New Hire Training packet.
- Ensure Safety Policies, OSHA regulations and housekeeping is followed.
- Set up new vendor accounts with accounts payable.
- Timely review all invoices and send approval to accounts payable.
- Monitor the Delivery calendar to ensure maximum daily delivery capacity.
- Utilize the Committed merchandise reports to constantly update the calendar and coordinate with sales floor daily on closed or open dates.
- Develop and maintain all delivery route and zip codes.
- Develop and hold quarterly meetings with the outside Delivery Company.
- Review and approve all billing for the outside Delivery Company.
- Work with the outside Delivery Company to ensure capacity will be met.
- Partner with the outside Delivery Manager to review performance successes and/or failures daily.
- Review all chargeback’s and mail to corporate.
- Review all RTV’s and destructions with the Inventory Control manager.
- Place purchase orders following the company processes.
- Ensures all training is completed on time.
- Attend all required meetings to include the morning sales team meeting.
- Plan and provide staffing schedules to the Visual Manger to assist with all showroom needs.
- Responsible for the securing maintenance and repair of all equipment.
- Ensure maintenance repairs and safety concerns are communicated to the pertinent parties ensuring prompt resolution.
- Responsible for timely reporting of any accident to the Loss Prevention Manager
- Communicates with other managers in reference to issues, changes and upcoming events.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED
- Experience: Must have 5 Years experience in a warehouse environment as a manager.
- Skills: Team building skills; Good sound judgment and decision making abilities; able to read and count accurately, do simple math and write legibly, and must have basic knowledge of Word and Excel programs.
