Our Skilled Nursing Facility is offering a FREE, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program that allows interested candidates the opportunity to train for a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) while working as an Environmental Aide or any available non nursing position. High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
- Full-time job placement is guaranteed upon completion of the program.
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will assist patients with various activities in our skilled nursing facility under the direction of a nurse. CNAs help residents with day-to-day activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, etc. You will also administer medications and maintain patient comfort and safety.
Qualifications for CNA Trainee:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, families, visitors and co-workers
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Responsibilities of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA):
- Changing linens
- Cleaning rooms
- Feeding
- Grooming
- Helping to move patients
- Dressing
- Giving bed baths
- Assisting with dental care
- Recording patient conditions
