The Publicist will be a hands-on contributor to the conception and execution of trade and consumer public relations programs for well-known beauty, salon professional and lifestyle clients both on a global and national scale. Even if the finite details of each of the brands are lost on you, your superb writing, organizational and positioning skills will carry you through!
Position Requirements:
Participates/leads high-level discussions regarding positioning, strategy and planning
Develops and runs strategic planning sessions to reach stakeholders through media pitching, relationship building and traditional public relations, as well as utilizing digital platforms integrated with social media
Is integral to building client and media relationships and overall satisfaction and success
Will be developing the agency’s PR department and growing the team
Has strong public relations, project management, organizational, leadership, and written and verbal communication skills
Monitors and reports news coverage, trends and competitors to bring new opportunities and ideas to client teams
Proven ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
Detail-oriented and reliable with a creative approach to everything you do
Expertise in the business media; you know who’s who and what they care about
Ability to jump in on copywriting assignments – over and above PR initiatives
Digital & social media savvy
Qualification
5 years of B2B and CONSUMER PR agency experience a MUST!
Proven ability to run multiple client projects simultaneously
Detail-oriented and reliable with a creative approach to everything you do
