Job Posting for Health Informatics Data Analyst at The Evolvers Group

The Health Informatics Data Analyst will be responsible for building interactive visualizations using Tableau/r-Shiny software to make available population health data from Healthy North Carolina 2030 in the cloud as part of a data modernization activity at the State Center for Health Statistics.

Responsibilities

  • The analyst works as part of a team and requires:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical aptitude and an understanding of statistical methods

Qualifications

  • Data visualization experience working with Tableau and/or r Shiny software
  • Experience with SAS analytic software: create basic formats for specific purposes unique to their environment, create reports, use macro language
  • An expansive knowledge of structured query language (SQL)
  • At least 2 years of experience with SPSS, STATA, R, or SAS i
