A basic understanding of pastry fundamentals is preferred as you’ll be responsible for the daily production of all dessert items along with quality checks.
Responsibilities
- Set up pastry stations and manage breakdown
- Wash, peel, cut and seed fruits/other ingredients
- Ensure freshness of food by checking for quality
- Keep track of ingredients and rotate stock
- Support Pastry Chef and Pastry Sous Chef as needed
Requirements
- Ability to work under pressure
- Positive, pleasant attitude
- Open to feedback and constructive criticism
- Prior restaurant pastry experience preferred
- Ability to read a thermometer correctly and efficiently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
