What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wedding Day Assistant position at The Factory Events?
We are looking for a few wedding day assistants to join our team! The wedding day assistant position will be part-time and the hours depend on how often you would like to work. We have weddings every weekend, sometimes two weddings a weekend. We do require that an assistant works at least 2 times a month in our busy season of June & September - November. The uniform is pretty simple: black clothing closed toed shoes. We recommend black jeans and a black tank or t-shirt with gym shoes or vans.
Wedding day assistants will arrive 45 minutes before the ceremony begins and they will stay to close down the venue. A wedding will last 5-6 hours so a typical shift is around 8 hours. A typical shift includes; putting away ceremony chairs, assisting the lead in timeline throughout the event closing down the venue (pull linens, place chairs on tables, coordinating vendor pick up, assisting clients in gathering all items). Our assistants are extremely important to us as they help ensure our building is kept safe cleaned up properly after each client. We do have a cleaning company a set up guy so no labor too hard!
The wedding day assistant pay starts at $15 an hour with occasional tips from the clients! *COVID 19 Vaccination REQUIRED*
