Delivery Programme 

The Mid-Life MOT contract (MLMOT) encourages and enables people aged 45-55 to stay in work longer and enjoy a more secure retirement through helping them take stock of their Work, Wealth, and Wellbeing. The aim of the programme is to encourage and enable individuals to engage with later life planning through a holistic assessment of their Work, Wealth, and Wellbeing. 

The MLMOT Private Sector Pilots are part of the wider enhanced package for those 50 , as announced in the Government’s 2021 £500m Plan for Jobs Expansion. This package announced that older workers will receive better information and guidance on later life planning, helping them make informed choices and supporting them to plan their career and remain in work.

This role is subject to Fedcap being awarded the MLMOT contract. 

The role 

Reporting to the Head of Service Delivery the Delivery Manager is responsible for leading and driving the MLMOT contract to achieve performance, quality, engagement, and sales targets. They will directly manage a team of peripatetic Case Managers and will oversee the Employer Engagement Executives and Marketing Coordinator outputs to ensure contractual standards, service level agreements and P&L requirements are met. Inspiring others through leadership skills to enhance team and participant positive outcomes.  

This is an outreach position which would require the successful candidate to visit in either the workplace or local authorities therefore you will require your own car and full driving license. You would also be required to cover Devon & Cornwall (expenses covered). 

The salary for this position is between £40,000 - £43,000. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Lead, motivate, develop a team of peripatetic Case Managers to continuously improve and increase their own capability and deliver against quality and performance targets.
  • Oversee the performance of the Employer Engagement Executives and Marketing Coordinator through a matrix management model to ensure the MLMOT contract achieves all service level agreements and KPI’s.
  • Manage performance across the CPA, understanding the detail and implementing corrective action for underperforming areas.
  • Deliver performance in all key performance indicators (KPIs) across multiple locations
  • Manage contact with key stakeholders at a regional level, maintaining a positive working relationship to ensure we meet all MLMOT service level agreements and KPI’s.
  • Be a key contact for Department of Work and Pensions (DWP)
  • Set budgets, objectives and targets including all resource planning.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to develop and lead them in a way that is consistent with company values and business objectives.
  • Ensure customer service standards are understood and observed by your team to ensure all participants are provided with the same high standard of service.
  • Engage with the innovation unit to “test and learn” new initiatives as part of the pilot MLMOT contract. Work with the continuous improvement team to implement and drive any required changes to enhance the service offer.
  • Undertake regular reviews with the team, prioritising those who are underperforming so that all individuals have the support and capability to deliver key performance indicators.
  • Manage day to day contact with senior stakeholders at a local and regional level, maintaining a positive working relationship to ensure we deliver according to service level agreements.
  •  Ensure the team maintain paperwork and participant records to ensure the customer journey is documented in accordance with our quality standards.
