Job Summary: The Home Delivery Operations Manager will oversee the home delivery operations for The Flower Shop’s recreational and medical customers. This position will be responsible for ensuring safety, service excellence, and financial performance for the delivery program. Additionally, they will play a pivotal role in training, developing, and standardizing processes while fostering strong relationships throughout the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Safety Management: Ensure all delivery operations comply with safety regulations and standards, maintaining a secure environment for both customers and employees.
- Service Excellence: Drive superior service delivery, ensuring that all customer interactions are positive and professional.
- Financial Performance: Monitor and manage financial aspects of the delivery program to meet profitability goals.
- Training & Development: Train and develop delivery team members, implementing standardized processes to enhance safety, efficiency and consistency.
- Process Standardization: Develop and enforce standardized procedures to streamline delivery operations and improve performance.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships within the organization to ensure cohesive and efficient operations.
Skills:
- Experience: Proven experience in delivery operations or logistics, preferably within the retail or cannabis industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge: Understanding of safety regulations and financial management.
- Education: Relevant educational background or equivalent work experience.
