The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a litigation paralegal to join a DC public interest law firm. The paralegal will work closely with attorneys, perform research, cite-check briefs, and assist with trial prep!
Responsibilities Include:
- Attend and report on regulatory commission meetings
- Cite-check and proofread briefs and pleadings
- Assist with discovery and trial prep
- Perform legal research and compile key findings
- Manage case materials including pleadings, files, calendars, and other materials
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 years of litigation paralegal experience
- Experience in regulatory work and with FERC is preferred
- Proficient with blue book cite checking
- Strong writing and proofreading skills
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- High-level of professionalism, ability to thrive under pressure, and ability to handle high-stress situations with diplomacy and tact

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
