The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a creative and innovative Web Manager for one of DC's top academic institutions. The Web Manager will maintain a user-friendly website and will evaluate its performance in terms of SEO and other analytics. This individual will collaborate with the communications and other teams to ensure the site advances their mission and marketing goals. This is a terrific role for a candidate with experience in web design or management that is interested in working in the education sector in a collaborative environment!
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop, edit and delete pages and content with the CMS
- Maintain consistency of branding, style, and design across pages
- Monitor search engine performance with Google Analytics
- Make recommendations for optimization and improve user experience
- Analyze metrics from the site and use that to revise content
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of experience with web, digital communications and/or marketing experience
- Nonprofit or association or education experience preferred
- Technical Skills:
- Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Google Analytics
- Experience with UX design
- Proven track record of using HTML and CSS
- Professional communication skills
- Experience in graphic design, and video content planning
