Foundry General Manager

GENERAL MANAGER

STATUS: Full Time, Salary

The General Manager of The Foundry will be working as a highly visible member of the Treystar team assisting tenants, clients, and partners. The position requires an individual with high energy, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has the availability to work a flexible schedule and can handle a wide array of tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Offer first class service to all Foundry guests, proactively offer assistance and respond to all guest inquiries via phone/e-mail/website in a timely manner.
• Conduct professional tours of the building on a regular basis to new and prospective clients.
• Responsible for decision making, record keeping and execution of the business in regards to marketing, tenant relations, expenses, budgeting, forecasting and purchasing.
• Collaborate with Treystar property services team on initial contracting/contract renewal and general maintenance of the property. Including but not limited to: waste management and recycling, landscaping/snow removal, HVAC, janitorial services and all other property maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with vendors on warranty items such as repair and replacement of common area, conference room and Veranda furniture.
• Provide support to all building tenants, including but not limited to: coordination, scheduling and calendar management of shared conference rooms and common area, key fob activation and deactivation, parking pass distribution, building wide communication, executing daily coffee service and other shared kitchen amenities, fielding and resolving all requests and concerns, and scheduling/leading quarterly building tenant board meetings
• Mindful of building culture and able to organize, plan and execute meaningful tenant appreciation events.
• Responsible for overall ordering, organization and inventory of the common areas, meeting rooms, kitchen, restrooms, storage, and supply rooms.
• Maintains meeting space and common areas, in conjunction with Foundry cleaning and maintenance team, setting, turning, and refreshing these areas as needed throughout the day.
• Manage and provide support for building tech systems including card access and security system, overall building management system (HVAC, boiler etc.), building/meeting room audio-visual systems and management of building server room.
• Marketing, booking, organization, invoicing, and on-site execution of all venue third party meetings and events.
• Collaborate with Treystar partners and/or marketing team on any necessary marketing decisions.
• Responsible for management of Foundry’s website, social media outlets and any online platforms (Google Business, Yelp etc.) communicating any needed upgrades, changes etc. to marketing team.
• Update and maintain all digital signage and music systems throughout the property.

The hours for this role are generally 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Occasional weeknight/weekend events require extended hours. The ability to have a flexible schedule is a must for this position!

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Salary starting at $45,000 annually.
• Commission earnings of $10,000 - $20,000 annually.
