Production Shop Cabinet Maker

**Cabinet Maker Position**
*Location: Fredericksburg Workshop, Fredericksburg, VA*

Are you an experienced cabinet maker looking to work in a collaborative and community-focused environment? The Fredericksburg Workshop, a membership-based woodworking facility, is seeking a skilled cabinet maker to join our team. We specialize in lumber sales, custom commissions, and woodworking training programs.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform assembly and cabinet finish work with precision
- Handle casework and dimension lumber using jointer, planer, table saw, and cross-cut saw
- Utilize a variety of hand tools such as routers, sanders, and more to complete high-quality projects
- Collaborate with skilled artisans on diverse and unique client commissions

**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in cabinet making, casework, and dimensioning lumber
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Familiarity with woodworking tools and techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week

Schedule:

• 5x8

Experience:

• Trim carpentry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Woodworking: 1 year (Required)
• Hand tools: 1 year (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Fredericksburg, VA 22401: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
