JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, HR, under the leadership of the Vice President, Human Resources, is responsible for the talent acquisition, talent management, talent development and talent administration processes for The Friedkin Group’s corporate shared services organization. The Manager, HR will lead efforts to enhance the effectiveness of the organization through continuously improving policies, programs and processes in the areas of talent acquisition, associate development, administration, performance management, associate engagement, and internal communication. The Manager acts as partner and advisor to management and facilitates human resources and talent development initiatives across the enterprise. This position will be responsible for partnering with Shared Services HR to effectively meet customer expectations for human resource needs. The Manager is responsible for creating an environment and culture that fosters drive for results, operational and business acumen, associate development and an employer of choice emphasis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Partners in the development and execution of HR initiatives to align human resources strategy with key business objectives.
- Delivers human resource services that are consistent with, and in support of, business unit needs and growth objectives. These service areas include talent acquisition, associate relations, administration, associate development planning, and new manager assimilation.
- Assists leaders and associates in growing leadership, talent and technical capability while promoting a high performance, development oriented culture. This includes providing support and consultation on the individual development planning process and leadership effectiveness coaching.
- Consults with managers and provides guidance; coaches managers regarding selection, retention, associate development, performance deficiencies, counseling, disciplinary issues, termination processes, investigations, and EEOC responses.
- Organizes and oversees the talent acquisition process for the business. Reviews job offers and compensation recommendations.
- Facilitates training and development programs as needed.
- Demonstrates expert knowledge of Title VII, ADA and EEOC Laws to assist the Business Unit in reaching their business goals.
- Supports or coordinates the implementation of local compliance programs consistent with the Values Statement and rules framework of the affiliated Companies.
- Serves as a liaison and resource to managers, providing them with timely and informative metrics, current hiring and management approaches, and makes recommendations to meet compliance goals and minimize risk. Develops and maintains systems for tracking and reporting such activities.
- Works closely with other Human Resources Consulting Team Members, Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, Compensation, and Benefits departments to streamline processes, implement change, and administer Human Resources services.
- Supports and partners on other HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Provides prompt, courteous service to all customers. Prioritizes and addresses customer needs and demands in a professional manner.
- Develops positive working relationships with other HR and departmental leaders to ensure alignment of goals and objectives, coordination of services and effective collaboration and teamwork.
- Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle associate data per applicable policies and procedures.
- Review and follow data privacy practices, policies, and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; plus five to eight years Human Resources experience with an emphasis in talent development, associate relations and talent acquisition. Solid competencies in the use of Human Resources management systems, databases, the internet and Microsoft Office Products.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the work day; and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate is occasionally required to travel to other sites, including out-of-state, where applicable, for business. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While the job is generally performed in an office environment, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the office environment is typically quiet, but the associate may be occasionally exposed to loud noise levels.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 25% of the time and on a domestic basis).
