Our customers walk through the door looking for relief from foot, knee, hip or back pain. That’s where our arch supports come in! Our arch supports are designed to readjust, realign, and reposition the foot. This has helped customers find relief from many foot, ankle, knee, hip, and back issues. We currently have five stores in the Virginia/Maryland/DC market. We have had proven success in the Virginia/Maryland/DC market and are looking for the right candidates to make our transition to the North Carolina market a success.
What we look for in a Store Manager:
- is a servant leader. You see yourself as there to serve the other employees.
- is a coach. You have experience in sales, so you can spot where other employees are struggling and are excited to impart wisdom and create plans to propel other successful sales associates.
- is an initiator. From toilet clogged to printer down, you step up to get each situation handled.
- is a financial steward. You understand how to manage money well. Bonus if you have P&L management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- modeling Easy Step’s Mission and Values and cultivating a Mission and Values environment
- training in products and systems, this will require travel to our Virginia/Maryland/DC stores
- ownership of your own personal sales numbers
- interviewing, hiring, staff scheduling, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels
- continually coaching and developing sales staff and customer service staff, including performance reviews
- working with upper management to drive sales on the store level
- maintaining a professional working environment for all staff and customers
- handling customer service issues
- tracking and counting inventory
- using basic computer programs like Gmail, Microsoft Office, Adobe and understanding of POS systems
- working with senior leadership in the development and execution of company-wide policies and procedures
- ability to work Saturdays, evenings until 7 pm, and Holidays (We are closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day)
Physical Requirements:
- Must be comfortable with constant standing, walking, and kneeling.
- Lifting up to 40 pounds
- Ascending or descending ladders
Compensation and Perks:
- $20/hour base starting pay
- Commission and bonus compensation plan, offered after 90 days
- Medical, Dental and Vision benefits offered to full-time employees after 90 days
