What are the responsibilities and job description for the Healthcare Customer Service Representative position at The Goodkind Group?
Contract to Hire
10 am to 6pm M-F
Education: Associate Degree, required. Bachelor Degree, preferred.
Experience: Entry level. Minimum of 2 years in Clinical Laboratory Client Services or 4 years in other customer service related position.
Handle high volume incoming and outgoing phone and email inquiries in a fast-past environment
2. Screen calls/email, resolve Level 1 inquiries and escalate Level 2 inquiries to appropriate department
3. Ability to multitask computer applications while speaking with a client
4. Document and maintain accurate records of all customer communications, inquiries, issues, and other relevant information
5. Correspond with client complaint handling to investigate and resolve any issues they may have (e.g., issues with incoming samples, delayed/pending testing, critical result alerts)
6. Daily maintenance of specific task lists assigned to the Client Service Department
7. Work cross functionally to expedite problem resolutions and communication across departments as needed to resolve any issues
8. Manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively
9. General understanding of laboratory operations and functions
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Farmingdale, NY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
