Granite Tower Building and Grounds Maintenance Worker Wanted:
The Granite Tower Building management is searching for a Building & Grounds Maintenance Worker. The Granite Tower is a piece of local history, located in the heart of Downtown Billings, MT. GREAT WAGES AND PERKS:
Yearly Salary is $52,000 with potential for year-end bonus. 1 week paid vacation earned at 6 months. After one (1) year of continued employment eligible for two weeks paid vacation.
SCHEDULE
Work hours are Monday thru Friday 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. with a lunch from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend may be required for random emergencies.
Qualifications: A combination or accumulation of applicable work-related experience and/or education may be recognized as sufficiently meeting the pre-requisites outlined below:
· Previous work experience serving in maintenance or a related field desired.
· General knowledge of equipment maintenance and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
· Ability to troubleshoot problems determining cause for operating errors.
· Must possess a valid Montana Drivers’ license and have a reliable vehicle.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Open and close the Granite Tower Building Monday thru Friday.
· Landscaping and property maintenance
· Building maintenance such as demolition and reconstruction, painting, mechanical/electrical/plumbing, etc.
· Check-in with tenants regarding maintenance issues on a bi-weekly basis.
· Miscellaneous maintenance duties as assigned by Building Manager regarding other properties managed by the Building Manager – 27th Street property, 211 North 34th Street, 1414 Mystic Drive, F Street property.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
This position is performed in an outdoor and indoor environment. While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Frequent and continuous physical activities required, include: standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling/squatting, crouching, crawling, balancing, reaching overhead, pulling/pushing and lifting up to 75 pounds. This role is exposed to Montana weather conditions all year round and may experience the temperature fluctuation while conducting work. Travel may be an expectation of this role.
