Position: Bilingual Speech Therapist, Preschool

Reports To: Eleanor Marantz, Director of Early Childhood Programs
Location: Mamaroneck UPK, Central School, 1100 Palmer Ave, Larchmont, NY 10566
Hours: 10-15 hours/week depending on caselaod
Position Summary:
Bilingual Speech Therapist (Spanish strongly preferred) needed to join the team of Early Childhood Teachers and professionals at the Mamaroneck Universal Pre-K program at Central School in Larchmont, NY. Demonstrate sensitivity and empathy for children and their families. Work collaboratively with teachers to provide support for speech and language skill-building with an emphasis on strong social/emotional connections.
Responsibilities:
Keep current progress information and notes on each student in the caseload
Provide individual bilingual speech/language therapy treatment to students in integrated preschool setting
Provide small and large group language therapies and interventions in the classroom
Follow goals and objectives on IEP for each student
Assess children as needed
Attend CPSE meetings as needed
Attend weekly class team meetings as needed
Provide speech as a related service in the community, if needed
Submit reports and billing in a timely manner
Mandated reporter.
Continue professional development including 30 hrs training for OCFS

Qualifications: NY State License in Speech Pathology, with Bilingual Extension
