Position Purpose:
The Senior Manager, Data Analytics will lead strategic objectives around data and will be primarily responsible for creating the architecture and building the foundation for data resources unique to the Controllership organization. In addition, the Senior Manager will establish advanced analytics, digitally enabled operating models, data visualizations and execute a roadmap to deliver digital solutions in accounting/finance to ensure accurate and reliable data necessary for GAAP and SOX compliance. This person will assist in significant ad-hoc projects including streamlining existing processes and development of transformation and change management programs for digital technology process implementations; and ensure compliance with Internal Controls.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead data transformation initiatives, building the foundation for data resources and creating standard and unified data sources across Controllership.
- Leverage existing B2B feeds to create new and easily accessible data sources for CCT teams.
- Expand the use of APIs to source new and unique data feeds such as Blackline, Zendesk, or any other SAS solution that has data relevant to CCT users
- Collaborate with the EDW team, Internal Controls and Finance Integration to make relevant data sources available and certified for SOX/FI processes
- Support the Finance Business Services (FBS) team to create and standardize data sources used by the different work streams and develop datasets that allow for complete process monitoring
- Create digital solutions using data and advanced analytics tools such as Google Cloud platform, Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, and other cognitive and emerging technologies
- Understand big data in the accounting system and integrate findings in to accounting/finance deliverables
- Work with company leadership to provide analytics support, developing recommendations and implementing analytical approaches and methodologies to capture the critical, actionable data to achieve business goals
- Actively use digital visualization tools to prepare results of data analyses in graphical form and to varying degrees of detail for the respective target audience
- Understanding of Finance and Accounting function and the people, process, and technology that support the finance function
- Apply knowledge of accounting principles, best practices and technologies to develop tools that provide actionable business insight to assist the Company's Accounting business function
- Keep abreast of industry best practices, monitor competitive and market trends to drive new features and innovative digital solutions
- Create external partnerships to continuously learn, engage, pilot and deploy emerging technology solutions in agreed upon finance and accounting focus areas

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education Required: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Years of Relevant Work Experience: 8 years Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
