Duties and Responsibilities
Supervisory
● Participates in the hiring and training of District Managers and General Managers.
● Develops, leads and inspires Operations Management.
● Organizes and oversees the work and schedules of Operational Managers.
● Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
● Handles discipline and termination of operations managers as needed and in accordance with company standards..
Daily Duties
● Leads the planning for any major operational events.
● Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.
● Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates operations procedures.
● Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
● Ensures work environments are adequate and safe.
● Assists with budget preparation for the store units.
● Plans, directs, controls, implements, evaluates, monitors, and forecasts budgets, sales goals, cost of goods, and labor in each region to achieve financial objectives.
● Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
● Meets and Improves customer service and satisfaction standards through policy and procedural changes.
● Leads coordination and integration of efforts among operations, engineering, technology, and customer service divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.
● Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
● Performs other related duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
● 2 years of experience in both front of house and back of house/kitchen operation management.
● Extensive hospitality and food service experience (5 more years) preferably in quick service and or fast casual.
● Experience in multi-unit restaurant operations and multiple concepts.
● BS degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus.
● Knowledge and expertise in food health code regulations (local, state, federal).
● Extensive knowledge of operations and production management.
● Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set production goals.
● Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.
● Ability to coach, motivate, and lead teams for growth..
● Food Manager Certification required.
