The HT Group is currently assisting a high-growth, Austin client in the consumer goods space in the search for a qualified Director of Organizational Development and Culture for an immediate need.

This individual will shape the employee experience and cultural strategy to create an exceptional employee experience across all key moments in the employee lifecycle. This role will oversee the design, planning, and implementation of organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. In addition, this role will oversee the expansion of programs meant to enhance and nurture the firm's robust culture while fostering a sense of belonging and demonstrating the organization's core values.

Key Focuses:

  • Align Culture with Strategy and Embed it in Processes
  • Align Culture and Leadership Behavior
  • Define, Measure and Continuously Improve Employee Experience and Value Proposition
  • Design and Lead Key Talent Management Processes
  • Stay abreast of best practices and industry trends to develop strategies for retention, culture change and other relevant areas
  • Provide coaching, consulting and facilitation support to company leaders and colleagues as they implement organizational change and culture programs.
  • Drive a feedback culture through the development of feedback mechanisms throughout employee engagement activities and internal communications to enable employees an opportunity for dialogue
  • Identify and leverage thought leadership, sponsorship, speaker, and other culture recognition opportunities to strengthen the company's reputation as the employer of choice in the community
  • Partner with various leaders and team members across the organization to ensure a culture that is equitable and inclusive
  • Own cultural assimilation as it relates to new employees, existing team members and remote staff
  • Drive a culture of recognition through initiatives that encourage and reinforce behaviors that demonstrate a commitment to the company's vision and values at all levels

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related
  • 7 Years of Experience working in Employee Engagement, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or similar
  • Outstanding communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal
  • Ability to prioritize, manage and organize multiple projects among shifting priorities
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively and work well under pressure
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to shifting structures and priorities
  • Demonstrated experience in program development/design that is customizable and scalable; able to effectively tailor and present initiatives to a diverse group of constituents
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to organize, analyze and summarize with superior writing and editing skills
  • Ability to interpret, analyze and apply company policies, objectives and procedures including developing, organizing, and implementing new policies and processes
  • Experience working with people at all levels of an organization; demonstrated ability to influence and support senior leadership. Commitment to diverse and inclusive engagement and an ability to connect with others and cultivate relationships based on mutual trust and respect, collegiality, and kindness
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain integrity and professionalism
