Description
The BSA for the Customer Data Teams will work as part of the larger team to aid the elicitation, analysis, creation, and validation of epics, features, and user stories and provide support during release events that support Huntington’s customers and colleagues, while helping to ensure consistency with company strategy and goals.
Detailed Description:
This role is an entry level position requiring the individual to be driven, well-organized and curious. They must be self-motivated and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The team will look to this individual to work with the Product Owner, Technical Lead, and other team members to decompose epics and features into user stories, perform research and analysis, and production support as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Elicit, analyze, document, and validate epics, features, and user stories.
Participate in all Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo/Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
Facilitate meetings as needed.
Document and make update to API information Swagger.
Write and execute test scripts.
Write and execute queries in the database.
Aid in the triage of defects during testing cycles.
Develop and update documentation to support new/changes to procedures.
Work with team to respond and answer questions generated by team members and business partners.
Act as a liaison between business units and development team.
Participate in production release activities as needed.
Participates with team to establish target dates and complete activities/artifacts under changing conditions.
Research and analyze production support issues when needed.
Provide system support for assigned business unit or assigned application(s).
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
1 year of business or data analysis experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent transferable experience through coursework, internships, or work experience in lieu of participation in the Elevate Program
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Strong technical writing skills.
Experience writing simple and complex SQL.
Experience writing user stories.
Experience creating data maps.
Experience with Word, EXCEL, and PowerPoint
Strong business and technology aptitude with a willingness to learn and understand business and software solutions.
Ability to translate technology into relatable concepts for business partners and stakeholders.
Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to build strong partnerships and to work collaboratively with all business and IT areas.
Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
High level of professionalism, confidence, and ability to build credibility with team members and business partners.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in a financial or regulated environment is a plus.
Experience with Swagger.
Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar tool.
Experience with Visio or other process mapping tools.
Experience writing User Stories.
Experience in an Agile environment.
Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
High level concepts of database structure (e.g., tables, modeling).
