Treasury / Insurance Analyst

Summary

The position will be responsible for handling various aspects of the laboratory’s insurance and treasury functions. Under the direction of the Manager, Treasury, the Treasury Analyst will be responsible for gathering information and completing the annual insurance renewal applications, submitting and processing insurance claims, managing Certificates of Insurance (both inbound and outbound), and keeping the Laboratory community abreast of important changes in the insurance program. In addition, the Treasury Analyst will be responsible for pulling bank/investment statements, entering monthly interest, fees, transfers, etc. into various financial systems for month end close and submitting daily wire and ACH files for processing.

Responsibilities

• Completing annual insurance renewal applications, interfacing with insurance brokers and assisting with policy placements and changes

• Claims submission and processing and COI management

• Information dissemination for both insurance and treasury offices via MyJAX, digital signage, meetings, etc

• Recording monthly interest, fees, transfers, etc. within various financial systems

• Daily wire and ACH processing

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance and/or risk management

• Highly skilled and knowledgeable in word processing software, database and spreadsheet software and ERP systems

• Effective interpersonal skills

• Ability to set priorities, balance different projects and meet deadlines

• Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage details accurately

• 1-3 years of related work experience is preferred

• Knowledge of commercial property & casualty insurance programs a plus
