What are the responsibilities and job description for the Horse Caretaker position at The JBiT Ranch LLC?
Horse Lover Opportunity! Part time weekend and weekday shifts required 8:30-11:30 am & 5-7pm. Currrent openings weekday evenings and Friday PM,Sat/Sun AM & PM, Wed/Thurs AM.
Horse handling experience and references are REQUIRED! Prior horse ownership preferred. Feeding approx. 10-15 horses per shift. AM stall cleaning, fill water troughs.
Position includes feeding and care for horses and sheep, and barn management. Discounted riding lessons and trail rides available.
Must be reliable and have own transportation, living within 20 miles of Berryville,VA
Hourly $13-15 or shift rate dep. upon experience. Holiday cash bonus.
We are looking for a long term commitment, min. 9 months- 1 year due to the training involved in learning horse feed requirements, etc. We are fun, safe, and friendly farm environment looking for our next team member, as several are graduating this year and heading to college!
