Job Description

At The Joel Bieber Firm (JBF), our Paralegals are vital to our operations. They play a tremendous role in the success of the firm by supporting our attorneys and allowing for the firm to handle the multitude of cases that come to us on a daily basis. We count on them to effectively manage their caseload, provide excellent customer service to our clients, and continuously maintain case status information in our case management system.

As a Paralegal, your day-to-day responsibilities will change. No two days will be the same, just as no two cases at the firm are the same. If you enjoy performing a variety of tasks and are able to quickly adapt to change, then this role may be a great fit for you! Below are some of the tasks and responsibilities that we will expect a Paralegal to perform:

• Drafting and filing Complaints and other litigation pleadings
• Answering Discovery
• Requesting bills and records from medical providers and healthcare facilities
• Communicating with adjusters to collect or provide information
• Serving as the liaison between the attorney and client
• Working alongside the attorney to ensure each case is progressing though the Claims/Litigation process
• Keeping case information updated in our case management system
• Managing attorney calendars and scheduling
• Scanning and saving incoming mail
• Managing physical and electronic files for each case
• Confirming balances on client accounts
• Processing invoices
• Drafting and mailing correspondence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
